Sounds like Lafferty and Bakken were on it yesterday at Broxton Bridge! This National Enduro Series could get pretty interesting... Was anyone out there? How'd Bobbitt look in his first race back since injury?

I wasn't there but it's nice to see Jr. start the year out with win!

I wouldn't be surprised if he has a really good year on the 300 two stroke... He has to have some serious motivation after the last couple of seasons.

I tried to catch the guys rolling through a section while I was heading back to the parking lot from the gas stop (rear brake issues forced me to quit early) but I never actually saw any of them. From what I gather from some of the spectators and guys around the same rows was exactly what the results say haha... Lafferty and Bakken were on it pretty good.

Bach was riding a brand new Beta complete with moto suspension that he had ridden for the first time on Saturday and had only ridden a handful of times since Unadilla. I would've rather gouged my eye out with a fork than ride that track with full blown moto suspension... Well, maybe I exaggerated a little because I really enjoyed the course and would've ridden regardless.

Man, isn't Bach supposed to be racing Sumter? You'd think two weeks out from the race he'd have off-road suspension ready to go. Bolt-on, do you know if he's running Genuine Dirt Rider stuff this year or will he be running Stillwell Performance stuff like the Beta Endurocross team?

Not sure... I heard one of those "so-and-so heard" rumors a while back about him using FTI but I forgot to ask him about it.

My question is, why would he be on full moto suspension at all? I can see perhaps if it's a practice bike and he does a lot of track training but I'd think he would have suspension dialed in a bit better than that by now....no?

He had just ridden the bike for the first time the day before at a motocross track. Guess they had it set for there.

I'm with ya, Tom. Kinda doesn't make sense... But, sounds like Bach isn't racing the Sumter hare scramble this weekend, another strange decision to me considering the Enduro is in the same place the following weekend and he's supposed to be racing that.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Granted, the track for the hare scramble is a mile or two from the parking/start area for the enduro, in years past they have always ran a good bit of the hare scramble course in the first section of the enduro... Who knows. Maybe he feels like taking the weekend to just ride the thing will give him a little better chance to really dial it in.
