The 2012 WORCS season starts this weekend at Glen Helen and Kailub Russell is going out to try his hand, how do you think he'll do?

From what I've heard, the GH WORCS is one of the fastest on the circuit. It even runs some of their truck track and stuff so it'll be a fair bit different than a GNCC.

I'm thinking he can run with them out west. Another big question is how is Strang coming along? Haven't heard any info on him.

Strang is still back in Australia, but should be back in the next couple of days. He hasn't ridden yet that I know of, but has been doing a lot of cycling to get his leg back strong.

Strang just Tweeted: "Well any chance I had of being at the first @WORCS_Racing is pretty much gone, my VISA is taking longer than expected. #strandedinAUS" so we won't get to see him race his first WORCS until Round 2 at Primm, NV. The cool thing is we'll be out at that round!

Wow..that stinks I thought he had a really good chance at taking that title. Does Worcs have any throw aways for Pros?

Nah, they don't have any throwaways, but if you look at last year's points, pretty much everyone (except Kurt) had a DNF (similar to GNCC) so I guess theoretically he's not completely out of the championship, but is definitely behind the 8 ball.

That stinks. Sort of reminiscent of the Dean Wilson debacle a while back. Not the way you want to lose a title. :(

He's not a happy camper. The only "good" thing in this is his new Visa will be good for five years so it'll be a while until he has to go through this again. By that time he'll probably have married some American chick and be good to go!

Solid start to the season for Kawi, they are probably looking to get back to the top since KTM switched Kurt to Baja.

Depending on luck, I could see any of their 3 guys bringing this thing home.
