I'm looking to attend 2-3 GNCC events this year and I've narrowed it down to the Steele Creek, NC; Big Buck in SC; Snowshoe, WV; the Ironman in IN; and Loretta Lynn's.
What is your favorite GNCC venue as a racer or a spectator. I will be spectating, but I'd appreciate hearing other's opinions on your favorite event.
Also, has anyone been to the locations of the new venues for 2012?

Here's my list of faves with a brief description why...
Florida - It's like the A1 of GNCC/Off-Road, we're in warm, sunny Florida, everyone is pumped and excited. Not to mention it's a 4-day affair with practice the day before each race, so things are a bit more laid back than all the other rounds.
Steele Creek - This one was a favorite before I moved to NC, and now that it's 45-minutes from my house I really like it! There's always an awesome crowd and there's a few cool spectator spots, and as you could tell from last year's race, there's usually some awesome action. Only problem here is the weather can take a turn for the worse, I've been there when it's 80 degrees and when it was flurrying.
Snowshoe - The facilites are awesome, the scenery amazing, there's a golf tournament on Friday, and a freaking Starbucks 100yds from the start. How can you beat that?
Unadilla - It's Una-freakin-dilla! Just an awesome place with so much history, as a moto dude I love going there just for that. Plus it's usually one of the biggest racer turnouts of the year.
Ironman - The Ironman is pretty awesome, the track is so sick and the amount of fans that come is mind boggling. Only downside is you're in Indiana at the end of October so the weather can be hit or miss.
I don't know much about the new venues, just that the new one in West Virginia is really close to Morgantown, so that aspect of it is cool. They have had some local races there before and it's supposedly really rocky. They also used to have this huge hippie concert deal call The All Good Festival there until someone got wasted and ran over and killed some people in a tent. So, you might be able to scour the grounds and score some left over pills and joints?

I gotta go with Snowshoe as my favorite just because of where it's at, and I just really like those gnarly type races.
Steele Creek would be my next favorite as a spectator because it could very well be the most unpredictable GNCC event of all.
Big Buck has one of my favorite track layouts. It's got a good flow and there's typically some single track and some other stuff to mix things up. There's also plenty to see without hiking super far into the woods.
Unadilla and the Ironman are both pretty awesome as well. The Ironman is such a huge event that it has this really special feel to it and Unadilla kind of goes without saying.
